Text Box: Real Performance Plus road show
September and October saw Real Performance Plus hit the road with its first public seminars. Kicking off in Eastbourne with our Insight into Stress workshop. This workshop looked at how to distinguish the difference between pressures and stress. Participants learnt the importance of having greater awareness about the causes of stress in the workplace and in their lives. Helping them to priorities those pressures that cause the most stress. The workshop explored what work-life balance means and how to build a more healthy balance into life.
Delegates were taken though a de-stress toolbox which included time management and assertiveness techniques. Tools that help to reframe your perspective on work and life. Some cutting edge NLP techniques to help boost well-being and happiness and reducing feelings of stress and frustration. Finally some basics about positive attitude, how to relax and the importance of good posture and proper breathing.
The workshop closed with the delegates developing their own action plans to tackle the most important and controllable sources of pressure followed by a relaxing guided meditation which brought together all the tools and techniques learnt during the season.
Feedback included, "This was so useful! The tools and tips are so memorable and easy to use. Thank you." (Jane R., Brighton) and "It all makes so much sense. I don't know why I didn't think of using some of these stress busters before. Keep up the good work!" (Danny Malloy, Eastbourne).
Our Customer Service workshop was equally well received. Held in K2 Crawley, the event was relaxed and informal, covering a range of topics. These included what good customer service actually is, different needs for different customers and how to ensure good customer service. The participants enjoyed the exercises - "They were really good fun and I learned a lot from them." (Steve Roberts, Crawley). The Fish! video was also a highpoint in the afternoon. This outlines just how easy it is to enjoy yourself at work whilst really looking after your customers.
